Standards compliance
- All pages on this site aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 to the best of author's ability. This is a judgement call as it cannot be tested automatically, but this site aims to meet WCAG 2.0 criteria wherever possible.
- While this site is experimental in nature, all pages should validate as HTML5 unless there is a sudden change to the specification. This site updates continuously to keep up with specification changes as and when they occur.
- All pages contain section–specific ARIA landmark roles as an aide to navigation for users of supporting assisted technologies. This is in compliance with the Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARIA) 1.0 Guidelines.
Links
- Many links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail, unless the link already fully describes the target.
- Links are written to make sense out of context.
Visual design
- This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout.
- This site uses only relative font sizes, compatible with the user specified "text size" option in visual browsers.
- If your browser or browsing device does not support style sheets at all, the content of each page is still readable and presented in an understandable order.
- This site also uses a CSS print style sheet to provide clear, easily readable paper copies of these pages.
